Check feature-access from JavaScript

I’d like to verify access to a feature from JavaScript. Is this possible? If so, how?

As a related question: Can I check the current plan from JavaScript?

Duncan’s solution seems pretty simple, but you could also access and display the member’s membership information like this. This would get the membership details dynamically, but you would have to manually update the cost and frequency of the plans if you change those frequently. thank you sir! Please clarify in the documentation that membership.id is an id for the plan, not the user.
