Hi Memberstack,
I am setting up a dog training website using webflow. I have added the Member Specific Pages powerup, but needed some help referencing which user is logged in.
Dog trainers are sent to the trainers CMS page, where there is a collection list of dogs. The trainer clicks the profile link of the dog they want to train, where they are taken to the dogs CMS page. On this page I have setup a form with hidden fields that reference everything about the dog.
The issue I have is I have know way of knowing which trainer is submitting the form on the dog CMS page. Is there a way I can reference who the logged in trainer is, or pass that variable from the trainer page to the dog CMS page?
Thanks,
Owen
Hello Ozone31912
Thank you for posting in the forum! I love your idea for a dog training website. The way to reference who is logged in is similar to using the hidden fields you mentioned. Here is a good article on how to do this with webflow https://help.memberstack.com/en/articles/3865692-pre-populate-forms-with-member-data In your specific use case you would just have the field you use be hidden. If you are using a typeform you would do something similar to this https://help.memberstack.com/en/articles/3972234-sending-member-data-to-typeform-using-hidden-fields
Again, thank you for being part of the community! If you have any other questions please let me know!
Thank you kindly. This is exactly what I was looking for.
